- How Do I mix my Epoxy Resin?
The resin and hardener should be mixed in a ratio of 2:1 respectively. Two components will be given, one of which is a resin and the other is a hardener. Stir the mixture for 3-5 minutes thoroughly to avoid air bubbles. For example, for every 20 gms of resin, you should add 10 gms of hardener to it.
- Can I use Resin directly over Alcohol Ink Art?
Yes, You can use it after varnishing.
- What is the Pot Life of Resin?
Pot life is the time in which the mixture will remain in its usable state. The pot life of the resin is 30 minutes.
- Is the Resin Heat resistant?
Yes, It can withstand around 150°C.
- What is the Curing Time of the resin?
It usually takes 12-24 hours for the resin to cure.
- Can I seal alcohol ink art with epoxy resin?
Pouring resin directly over Alcohol Ink artwork can react; hence, it is safer to coat the artwork with varnish and then use resin over it.
